I have been on an extended hiatus from blogging. With the ease and speed of social media, etc., and the great big changes that we have been going through, I have not had the energy to keep up with the Siberian Grinder. But now I think that a blog would be useful. I had plans to change the blog’s name to something more in line with what I am currently doing (read about it in the About section). And I still might, but for now I will stick with the tried and true.
Back in the day, I was averaging 100-300 unique computer hits a day. Now, because of extended inactivity, only people who stumble upon the site through Google, or old friends looking to catch up, stop by the Grinder and usually do not stay long. I don’t think I will be going after a large audience. Instead, this will just be a place where I can write whatever is on my mind, so whether people begin to read an interact won’t be a major factor for me. Although, if I write a killer article, it will be a bummer if only three people read it.
My goal is to post 2 or 3 times a week. I will be writing about theology, the Christian world, my own ministry, missions, and whatever else I deem blog-appropriate. Hopefully, things will get rolling to that end by next week.
Until then, happy browsing.
